Liverpool Live

Liverpool (The Reds) is one of the Big football clubs in Liverpool, England. Liverpool is the most successful British club of all time; they have won 18 League titles, 8 League Cups, 7 FA Cups, 5 European Cups and 3 UEFA Cups. They are one of the most popular football teams in the world, with over 200 supporter clubs in at least 50 different countries. And yet, their magnificent history will forever be plagued by two of the worst stadium disasters of all time: Heysel and Hillsborough.

Liverpool will be traveling to United States for their 2018 Pre-season tour where they are set to play in the International Champions Cup (a pre-season friendly tournament). Liverpool are set to play Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Manchester United in what will be a two weeks tour of the US. Below is the entire Liverpool pre-season schedule for this summer.

Liverpool 2018 USA Pre-Season Tour Dates: Unlike the previous few seasons where Liverpool traveled to Asian countries for their pre-season tours for 2018 Liverpool will spend at least two weeks in the US where they will play three games in the highly lucrative international champions cup. Liverpool will finish their 2018 tour with another friendly in Dublin, Ireland against Napoli before the start of 2018-19 season.

Liverpool’s pre-season tour to United States was very important for Jurgen Klopp who was unhappy over the last two years when Liverpool traveled to Asia and Australia. Klopp’s philosophy of high intensity game require certain preparations and this pre-season tour is tailor made for Klopp’s needs as well as make more sense financially as Liverpool will be making way more money for the US tour compared to their last two years in Asia.

Short Preview: Liverpool Football Club is a professional football club in Liverpool, England, which competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football, Following the moving of Everton to Goodison Park in 1892, the club’s then-president John Houlding suddenly found himself with the rights to Anfield stadium and no team to play on it. Always a practical man, Houlding quickly decided to circumvent this problem by forming his own club – Liverpool.
After becoming a member of the Football League in 1893, the team managed to get promoted to first division after one season in the second division. Early on, Liverpool established themselves as one of England’s top clubs, winning League titles in 1901, 1906, 1922 and 1923.
