Preview: The New Orleans Saints are a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Saints currently compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The team was founded by John W. Mecom Jr., David Dixon and the city of New Orleans. The Saints began play in Tulane Stadium in 1967.

As the New Orleans Saints look to build on last season’s success, they now know what the path back to the playoffs looks like.

In 2018, the NFC South will be matched up with the NFC East and the AFC North. A first-place finish last season also earned New Orleans showdowns with fellow division champs Los Angeles and Minnesota.
