Philadelphia Eagles season will be the franchise’s upcoming 86th season in the National Football League and the third under head coach Doug Pederson.
 
The Eagles will enter the season as the defending champions of Super Bowl LII. The Eagles will open the 2018 NFL season on September 6, 2018 against the Atlanta Falcons, as it is a tradition that the previous season’s champion kicks off every new season and will attempt to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. A vast majority of the team from their Super Bowl-winning season will be back with franchise QB, Carson Wentz being the most important one after suffering a season-ending ACL injury last year.
