Saul Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin Fight Preview
Alvarez is best known for his punching power and it is not a surprise to see him get eight knockout victories in the last 13 fights. He is also offensively very good. Golovkin has plenty of experience while he is also able to put constant pressure on his opponents. The 36-year-old is also extremely good at waiting for his chance and taking them.
Alvarez has the potential to suffer some heavy blows at the start of the fight with Golovkin, as he has out punched his opponent in 10 out of the last 12 rounds. The major issue for Golovkin has to come in defence, where he has had problems at stopping opponents. He is also not the best until taking control of the game.
Saul Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin Prediction
The youth and fast paced ability of Alvarez has a much bigger say in this fight. Even though Golovkin has a lot of experience, it is expected that he will struggle against an opponent who has suffered just one loss – against Floyd Mayweather Jr – in his career. Alvarez has the athleticism and excellent punching power to be able to get past Golovkin.
